This devised dance-theatre work is in response to the challenging, restricting, and banning of book titles across American schools and libraries. These bans disproportionately target authors of color and from the LGBTQ+ community, and eliminate essential texts from our literary and historical landscape.

[Redacted], or I Am a Unicorn and I Like to Fight originated in development at the American Dance Festival as a part of the Summer Dance Intensive.
